Gilad is a member of the Physics Group at Reinhold Cohn since 2010 and a registered patent attorney since 2012. He joined as a partner in 2019. He specializes in the fields of quantum mechanics, optics, electro-optics, and medical devices, and supports clients as well in the fields of renewable energy, semiconductors, and electronic devices.
Beyond identifying the unique and patentable aspects of innovations, Gilad frequently consults with start-ups and enterprises on their IP strategy and conducts IP due-diligence reviews for investors. He currently also teaches an Intro to IP course at Reichmann University.
Gilad takes part in training future patent attorneys and consults with MBA students on the IP and business aspects of their budding ventures.
Gilad earned his master’s degree in physics from the Weizmann Institute and holds a B.Sc. in physics and chemistry from the Hebrew University in Jerusalem.
He lives in Tel Aviv with his wife, their two boys and dog. Gilad enjoys his daily bike ride to work and building Lego with his family.
