Asa Kling

Asa Kling, chairs the Naschits Brandes Amir & Co. intellectual property practice. Asa's practice includes litigation in courts, in arbitrations and before the Israel patents office as well as portfolio building by way of prosecution of IP rights' registration. Mr. Kling consults on a regular basis on complex transactional issues pertaining to all aspects of intellectual property, such as license or assignment scope, due diligence reviews, patentability and  FTO opinions as well as deal structure. Mr. Kling is an attorney-at law and a patent attorney and is well versed in international intellectual property and unfair competition laws. Prior to joining the firm Asa was the Director of the Israel Patent Office and Commissioner of Patents, Trademarks and Designs (2011–2017). 

Asa teaches intellectual property law at the Hebrew University, Jerusalem and the Inter-Disciplinary Center, Herzeliya.
